Sime Darby Property Awarded AMD QESH MS Certification

Sime Darby Property recently received the AMD QESH MS Certification following the successful incorporation of Asset Management into its existing scope of Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety (QESH) certification.

Puan Khalidah Mustafa, Managing Director of SIRIM QAS International presented the AMD QESH MS certification to the Managing Director of Sime Darby Property, Dato Tunku Putra Badlishah during a ceremonious event held at the Sime Darby Convention Centre, Bukit Kiara on 9 July 2010.

Sime Darby Property is yet proud to be the first property player in Malaysia to include the Asset Management activities in the Integrated Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification. Aside from the property arm, the Quality Management System has been established at Sime Darby s Hospitality and Leisure Business Unit such as Sime Darby Convention Centre, lmpian Golf & Country Club, Harvard Golf & Country Club, Harvard Suasana Hotel and Genting View Resort, which are pending SIRIM's certifications.

In time, the Company aims to incorporate the QESH Management Systems into all its business units and will also be extended to all its business associates in order to continuously raise the bar of quality excellence.
