More Flood Relief Support for the Community in Johor

Sime Darby Property and Yayasan Sime Darby provide essential items to 92 families living around Bandar Universiti Pagoh, Johor.

Ara Damansara, 23 February 2022 - Together with its philanthropic arm, Yayasan Sime Darby (“YSD”), Sime Darby Property continued its relief efforts to assist the community in Johor, where volunteers from Bandar Universiti Pagoh and YSD distributed food supplies, hygiene products, bedding, and gas stoves to 92 families living in Kg. Melayu Kundang Ulu, Kg. Parit Sawah and Kg. Penchu.

The goods were handed over by Business Unit 5 Head, Saniman Md Apandi, to the Head of Bukit Serampang District, Mohd Harosani Sawahid, at Kompleks Penghulu Mukim Bukit Serampang, Tangkak. The families will receive the goods over the next few days.

The contribution follows the Company’s collaborative relief efforts in January when volunteers went house to house to deliver daily necessities and hygiene items to close to 100 families residing in Kg. Olak Sepam, Kg. Brohol, Kg. Sri Tanjung, Kg. Semasih, and Kg. Sungai Ranggam.
