A Middle East Affair at SDCC
KUALA LUMPUR, 4 May 2011 - It is all about hummous, tabouleh and kebabs come May, at Halia in Sime Darby Convention Centre.

The entire month will see Halia offering a wide spread of Middle Eastern dishes specially crafted by guest chef, Ayman Ibrahim. An affable Egyptian, Ayman once served as personal chef to the Jordanian royalty and other Middle-Eastern dignitaries.

As an experienced Chef who has been residing in the country for more than ten years now, has enabled Ayman to craft some of these exotic dishes to suit the local palate, without compromising the basic ingredients commonly used in Arabic dishes like olvies, pitas, honey, sesame seeds, sumac, chichkpeas, mint and parsely.

Set to tantalize your taste buds, the intensifying aromatic spices used in Middle Eastern dishes will certainly add a refreshing burst of delight, especially for those who are on a constant look out to try out something new.

However, one must not miss out on classics such as Samak Barid , Mousaqa Bik Jabnah , Jambari Manga , as well as tempting desserts like Mihalabiah and Mishmisaih and many more.

Priced at only RM55++ per person, this Middle Eastern buffet is available from Monday to Friday during lunch, and dinner for RM65++ per person from Monday to Saturday.

Halia is open daily for lunch and dinner from 11am to 11pm. Call 03-2089 3799 for reservation or email halia.sdcc@simedarby.com.
