Ranking 77th on the list, KLGCC is honoured as the only club in Malaysia to receive the invaluable recognition.

KUALA LUMPUR, 15 MARCH 2022 – Malaysia’s premier Golf and Country Club, the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (“KLGCC” or “Club”) retains its status in the prestigious ‘Top 100 Platinum Golf & Country Clubs of the World 2022-2023’. Ranking 77th on the list, KLGCC is honoured as the only club in Malaysia to receive the invaluable recognition.

Through KLGCC’s inclusion in the list, the Club was also named in the ‘Top 50 Platinum Clubs in the Asia Pacific’ category, with the ‘5-Star Platinum Club’ status. The status is the pinnacle of recognition for international private clubs, acknowledging KLGCC’s impeccable leadership, distinguished members, and outstanding staff.

The status is the pinnacle of recognition for international private clubs, acknowledging KLGCC's impeccable leadership, distinguished members, and outstanding staff.

The selection process to qualify as one of the Platinum Golf & Country Clubs of the World 2022-2023 was conducted by ‘Club Leaders Forum’ which consists of industry experts, historians and connoisseurs of private clubs from over 20 countries.

The multiple-award-winning KLGCC is owned by Sime Darby Property Berhad and has successfully staged numerous international tournaments including the Maybank Malaysian Open (2010 - 2015), Sime Darby LPGA (2010 - 2017) and CIMB Classic (2013 - 2018). KLGCC is also recognised for staging the PGA TOUR, European Tour and the LPGA all within a year for three consecutive years (2013 - 2015).
