Gifts of Essential Items Presented to Welfare and Charity Homes for Chinese New Year

ARA DAMANSARA, 28 JANUARY 2022 - With Chinese New Year just around the corner, a team of Sime Darby Property volunteers, together with representatives from Yayasan Sime Darby (“YSD”), visited welfare and charity homes to provide essential items in preparation for the festive period.

Contributions of daily essentials and hygiene items were made to Pertubuhan Prihatin Sejagat Negeri Sembilan, a centre that cares for the homeless by providing daily food distribution and services such as religious classes and haircuts; Pusat Jagaan Rumah Love and Care Kajang, a home for the elderly; and Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Terencat Akal Malaysia in Petaling Jaya.

The contributions to the homes are part of the ‘Sinar Harapan Festive Aid Programme’, which is jointly organised by YSD and Sime Darby Property, benefitting almost 200 individuals. The programme aims to support underprivileged communities with various critical needs, especially during the festive periods.
