Sime Darby Property Bhd’s residential launch, Hevea Phase 2 in the City of Elmina, Shah Alam, is currently 70% taken up. Launched on April 24, Hevea Phase 2 comprises 68 semi-detached houses and a bungalow.
“All corner units in Hevea Phase 2 were instantly booked on launch day,” says Sime Darby Property. The developer adds that limited units of Types A2 and A3 —which are intermediate units of 3,130 to 3,430 sq ft — are still available.
Hevea Phase 2 has a gross development value (GDV) of RM114 million. Sprawling across a 10.61-acre tract, the units are priced from RM1,884,888. Hevea Phase 2 is scheduled for completion in April 2023 and designed to exude the nostalgic charm of heritage colonial homes with modern tropical elements.
Occupying a total of 24.48 acres, the freehold Hevea project comprises two phases and has a total GDV of RM204.8 million. Hevea Phase 1, offering 56 two-storey semi-detached homes and a two-storey bungalow, was launched on Dec 29 last year and is 90% taken up.
As Hevea forms part of the RM27 billion City of Elmina township in Shah Alam, residents will have easy access to City of Elmina’s 300-acre Central Park and a 90km cycling and jogging track, as well as the nearby 2,700-acre forest reserve.
City of Elmina will have a mix of residential and commercial properties and is expected to take up to 20 years to complete. It is accessible via the Guthrie Corridor Expressway, Federal Highway, Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway, New Klang Valley Expressway and the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway.
Meanwhile, in keeping with the current market challenges, Sime Darby Property says it will continue to offer its hassle-free home buying experience, where potential homebuyers can browse specially curated online sales kits, go on virtual tours and purchase the property of their choice through the group’s digital platforms.
